Effective Tract Use
Select kind tracts, worded in a friendly manner. A tract should contain only those things you would say in friendly conversation.

Tracts continue to teach long after the spoken word has faded.

Just as it is polite to introduce a new person, it is appropriate to introduce a tract with a few words of explanation. Most people will appreciate your concern if your approach is casual and cordial.

Be sure the tract you give has some identification such as your phone number or a church address.

Keep tracts near your front door to give to those who visit.
Keep two or three tracts in your Bible. Leaflet tracts make convenient book markers and are there when you need them.
Remember to pray each time a tract is placed.  Even if the tract is ignored by the intended reader it may later be read by a person who is searching.
